Description
I went to Cholla Cactus Garden in the hopes of snapping a sunset. On my way there rain clouds started to roll in, but I decided not to turn back and to see what would happen to the sky. As the sun set behind the mountains in the distance, a bright orange and pink glow was forming while the clouds in front of me stayed dark and ominous!!! To capture this dramatic sky I decided to shoot a 5 image vertical panorama so I can fit the beauty with the beast!

Clouds always add great composition to a photograph. I attempt to use clouds in my images as well. You can take a picture of the landscape one day and the next it is entirely different with a whole new cloud structure. This image is a well done. I like the scene, the tones, and the final processing.
