Description
I saw Chittenango on google maps and realized that it would make for a perfect night scene. I was a little nervous walking in the woods there alone in the dark, however I really wanted to create this photo. Once I made it to the bridge I felt a little relief although I would constantly look over my shoulder. To create the cleanest image possible I shot 5x 2 minute exposure for the waterfall and then turn on my star tracker for 3x 2 minute exposures of the milky way. I then stack the images in post and blended them together giving me this amazing shot!!

Foreground with my iOptron sky tracker turned off was Nikon D800 14mm ISO 16 F4 Shutter 4 minutes iOptron star tracked turned on after the foreground shot to track the milky way 14mm ISO 2000 F3.2 Shutter 60 seconds
